Alacati

Alaçatı (pronounced “Ala-cha-ti”) is a tiny town of Izmir on the west coast of Turkey. The charming town is a hidden gem with Greek past (Dating back to around the 14th century), traditional Alacati architecture, windmills as well as nice clear beach.

Thanks to 330 windy days a year, Alacati is Turkey’s hotspot for windsurfing. Despite  constant winds,Sae waters are calm, crystal clear, warm and shallow, which attracts water sports enthusiasts from all over the world.
